We all agree that time and schedules have been in the past
and probably will be in the future the most difficult element we will be dealing
with. Time zones and unforeseen schedules may throw this well-oiled team into some
hectic meetings, but we agree that at this point in our education we are
completely capable of handling anything that comes along as a team.
I can’t say there was or has been much time spent on problem
solving because I’m not aware of any problems that have occurred. The closest
thing to a problem I saw was one I created myself when I overlooked a team
member who had requested to be a team leader for Module 3. I requested the same
module without taking time to read all the posts from the team. The problem was
alleviated when I requested to be leader of another unclaimed module. Oh yes…there
was the problem of me having to re-submit my portion of the charter because I
failed to submit all the requirements. Our team leader had the patience of Job
and because we were in constant communication I completed all tasks without
causing harm to the team. She was amazing at intervening and alleviating any
potential problems (Brown, 2011, p.
203).
All information was shared with everyone by everyone on the
Team Discussion Board. I don’t believe there has been any question about when,
where, what and why the team’s objectives and focus needs to be. I am not
strong in writing skills and yet I have all the confidence in the world that as
a team we will work together to submit quality work for each of the team
projects.
I can only hope that someday the team at TSTC can work
together as seamlessly as the team I’ve been assigned to in this semester. It
has been a pleasure and privilege to work with them. Although in some teams
competition is strengthening, I see that the strength in my team this semester
comes from support of each other.
